The County Clerk serves as the Clerk of the Court for the County Criminal Courts. Jefferson County has two County Courts at Law (No. 2 and No. 3) which hear Class A and B misdemeanor offenses such as DUIs, thefts, family violence, and assaults. The Court Division of the Clerk’s Office files information from these courts and provides administrative support through the issuance of warrants, summons, subpoenas, and commitments. Felony cases are handled by the District Clerk’s Office.
The Court Division is located at 1085 Pearl Street, First Floor, Beaumont, Texas 77701 (view map). Please do not use this address as the mailing address. We are open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
