Refunds and Waivers

Please be aware that most fees cannot be refunded. Sometimes refunds are available in cases of clerical error or other circumstances, but please be aware that if a requested service has already been performed, a refund is generally not available. Refunds are processed at the end of the month.

Misdemeanor Fees

The County Clerk’s Office does not collect fines and fees on misdemeanor cases. The Sheriff’s Office collects these fees on cases where court costs and a fine and/or jail time are assessed. On cases where the defendant receives probation, Community Supervision collects these fees over the term of probation.
