This morning at 12:29 a.m., JCSO Deputies responded to an emergency call at the Arkema Plant located in the 2800 block of Gulf States Road in Beaumont.
Upon Deputies arrival, Bmt. Fire and EMS were already on scene. A 39 year old male employee had been pinned between two railway tank cars. He was deceased at the scene. Judge R. Jones ordered an autopsy.
The NTSB as well as the Union Pacific Railway PD were notified. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is conducting the Death Investigation.
The deceased has been identified as 39 year old Travis Andrepont of Lousiana.
