On 8/14/19, at 1016 AM, Deputies were dispatched to 17000 block Burrell Wingate Rd. in reference to a burglary that just occurred.
The complainant advised that when returned home he noticed a suspicious truck in his driveway that contained items in the bed of the truck that belonged to him. The truck sped away as he approached
The complainant called 911, followed the suspects and continue to give dispatch location updates. A nearby JCSO intercepted the suspect vehicle and followed them to the dead end of Wiggins Road.
The two male suspects exited the vehicle and the Deputy immediately arrested one. The second suspect ran and was located hiding in the tall grass nearby.
All of the items stolen from the complainants shop were recovered. The suspects were identified as 53 year old James Jones of Port Arthur and 45 year old Armand Ledee of Groves.
Both Jones and Lee were booked into the Jefferson County Correction Facility on the charge of Burglary. #OneCounty#OneCommunity
