Hwy 73 Robbery Suspect Apprehended
On Monday March 18, 2019 JCSO Deputies responded to an Aggravated Robbery that occurred at the Hamshire Quick Mart located at 24061 Hwy 73 in Hamshire Texas.
When Deputies arrived they discovered that an unknown suspect had robbed the clerk at gun point and fled in a white Hyundai sedan with no rear bumper westbound on Hwy 73.
Following an extensive investigation the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office identified the suspect as, 26 year-old, Hispanic male, Jhensen Gales Morales Pacheco.
Pacheco is a Port Arthur native and was located in Pasadena, Texas. An arrest warrant for Aggravated Robbery was issued for his arrest and was executed by JCSO Detectives and the Fugitive Warrant Division.
The suspect was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a $40,000 bond.
The investigation was a combined effort of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Nederland Police Department and Department of Public Safety.
