Suspect Vehicle in Robbery

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help in locating a vehicle that was at the scene of one Robbery and at the location of an attempted Robbery, both in the past two weeks. On Thursday night, July 19, 2018 two black males, while partially covering their faces, attempted to rob the Crossroads Convenience store at 2521 N Twin City Hwy in Nederland. The only saving grace was that the store clerk had already locked the door for the evening. While leaving, one of the suspects pulled his facial cover off and it was caught by surveillance cameras. On Wednesday July 25, 2018 at 9:20 pm, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office received a call that an Armed Robbery had just occurred at Dan’s Food Mart located at 3819 N. Twin City Hwy in Nederland, Texas. In that instance, two thin black males with shirts over their faces entered the store and demanded money from the store clerk. After reviewing surrounding surveillance video, it was discovered that an older model Gold Pontiac Grand Am was seen driving through the parking lots and surrounding area of both incidents. The suspect vehicle has body damage. The trunk won’t close and it only has one hubcap. (SEE PHOTO’S) If you have information about this crime or know information on the car, call Crime Stoppers at 409-833-TIPS (8477) You can also submit anonymous information by downloading the P3 app. You will not be asked your name and you could be eligible for a cash reward.
