Narcotics and Firearms Violations Arrests

Date: 02/02/2018 Subject: Narcotics and Firearms Violations Arrests This afternoon around 1:00 p.m. Deputies with the Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force were investigating complaints about narcotics being sold from a house on Houston Street in Beaumont., Texas. While conducting surveillance, a suspicious vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation at Houston and Lela. Deputies could smell a strong odor coming from inside the vehicle as they approached. A small bag of marijuana was observed in the vehicle. Three people were detained as the vehicle was searched. Deputies found two handguns in the car that were reported stolen in two separate Auto Burglaries in Beaumont. Deputies arrested 30 year old Enrique Mosquera of Beaumont, 19 year old Michael Gallo of Beaumont and 18 year old Willie Cain of Beaumont. They were charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of a Firearm in a School Zone/Stolen Firearm. The investigation is ongoing and ATF Beaumont is assisting with the investigation. There have been numerous complaints from citizens in and around that neighborhood about drugs being sold in the area.
