TOPIC: Two Arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance
Yesterday, 01/29/2018, the Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force received information that Fentanyl was shipped to the UPS Office at 3755 Washington Blvd. JCSO Investigators were there when 54 year old Clifford Cole of Silsbee attempted to pick up the package inside the Post Office. Cole was immediately arrested.
His step-daughter, 37 year old Amber Hayden of Silsbee was detained in the truck. There was a strong odor of marijuana and a clear baggie of Meth on the console. A further search of the truck yielded a small bottle containing Winstrol Anabolic Steroid.
A search warrant was obtained for the UPS package and it was found to hold EIGHTY 100 mcg packages of Fentanyl with a street value of $8,000.00 to $10,000.00.
