Around 8:00 a.m. this morning as Deputies began to resume the search for the missing man, two citizens walking along the beach approximately 12 miles south of the entrance to the McFaddin Wildlife Refuge discovered the body of a male who had washed up on shore.
Deputies recovered the body and Judge Gilliam ordered an autopsy. The body is believed to be that of the man who went missing yesterday afternoon but his name won't be released until positive identification has been made at the morgue.
