Investigators Asking for Public's Assistance in Identifying Robbery Suspects

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for your help in identifying two suspects who robbed a convenience store in IH10. On Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 9:21 p.m., the Stuckeys Travel Center, formerly known as Bar H, 19498 IH10 was robbed at gunpoint. Surveillance video shows that two black males entered the store and approached the counter. The thinner black male, armed with a semi-automatic handgun, forced the male clerk to the back of the store in an attempt to get into the safe. The heavier set male stole cigarettes and then went to the back of the store as well. They encountered a female employee in the back office. They forced her at gunpoint to open the front register and hand over cash as well as her cell phone. The armed robbers also stole a large amount of coins which Deputies, along with K-9 Duc were able to locate the majority of coins and the clerks cell phone on a trail behind the store. Suspect #1 – Thin black male, wearing a black head cover, gray zip-up hoodie, red pants, black and white shoes the clerks cell phone on a trail behind the store. Suspect #2 – Heavy set black male, white shirt wrapped around head, white muscle shirt with dirt and holes on the back, long black shorts, light blue and white shoes (the blue is shiny) If you recognize these Robbers, call Crime Stoppers at 409-835-8477.
