During the month of November you may notice that some Deputies of the Sheriff’s Office might have an new addition to their uniforms. Sheriff’s Deputies will be participating in “No-Shave November”.
Deputies who wish to participate by growing a beard or goatee for the month of November must pledge $40. At the end of the month, all donations that have been collected will be donated to the American Cancer Society to help further cancer research.
Usually Deputies are only allowed to grow a mustache, or otherwise, they must be clean-shaven at all times. By participating in No-Shave November this allows our Deputies a little something different and fun to do while helping the fight against cancer.
