Fugitive Warrant Division makes Narcotics Arrest

On 8/22/2017 at about 1:00pm, Fugitive Warrant Deputies, Capt. Boykin and Lt. Viator, were serving a warrant at Odom Place Apartments at 4757 Odom #1 when they discovered a large amount of drugs and two guns. Capt. Boykin and Lt. Viator knocked on the door and were met by B/M Delon Andrew Jackson DOB 19/16/1995. When Jackson opened the door Deputies smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the apartment. Based on probable cause they entered the apartment as saw cocaine and marijuana and a pistol in the living room. The apartment was checked for additional occupants and additional drugs were found including a rifle. The drugs that were found in the apartment were Marijuana, Cocaine, Ecstasy, Xanax, and mushrooms. The firearms were a Glock pistol and an AR-15 Rifle. The Jefferson County Narcotics Task Force was called to collect the drugs and guns and complete the investigation. Jackson was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility where he was booked in for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 3, and Possession of Marijuana. Jackson currently has no bond pending arraignment.
