Subject: UPDATE Hamshire Auto Burglary
The Sheriff’s Office has arrested one in connection with the Auto Burglary in Hamshire.
On June 22, 2017 at 12:28pm, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded to an Auto Burglary that occurred one night at a residence in the 12000 block of Hamshire Road. During the investigation, it was determined that a handgun was taken from a vehicle. Surveillance video showed an unknown white male committing Auto Burglaries in the area.
After a lengthy investigation, it was determined that Chad Joe Landry was in possession of the stolen gun was from the Auto Burglary on Hamshire Road.
Chad Joe Landry was charged with THEFT OF A FIREARM and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was arrest and later bonded out of jail.
