The Jefferson County Clerk's office accepts cash, check, money order, cashier's check or debit/credit cards (fees apply) associated with Assumed Names, Birth Certificates, Death Certificates, Marriage License, Marks & Brands, and Recording Fees.
There is a $2.50 convenience fee when a credit card is used for payment.
