Special Weapons and Tactics Team

The Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T.) is an elite, highly trained, and knowledgeable group of deputies who are responsible for handling riot control, hostage situations, barricaded suspects, forced entry into buildings, and houses. We also conduct narcotic raids and special search warrants, and assist in other emergency crisis situations. The team has special training in weapons and tactics.
