The County Clerk serves as the Clerk of the Court for the Jefferson County Court, which primarily hears cases such as estate matters, guardianships, and mental health commitments.

The Clerk’s responsibilities include receiving the filings for probate, guardianship and mental health commitment cases, preparing notices and citations, issuing Letters of Testamentary, Letters of Administration and Letters of Guardianship, and maintaining records associated with the cases filed before this court.

Office Location and Hours

The Court Division is located at 1085 Pearl Street, First Floor, Beaumont, Texas 77701 (view map). Please do not use this address as the mailing address. We are open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except legal holidays.
